Scuba will be offered at UMBC again strting on Jan 27 ,2010.  There will be classes on Sun from 10a-2p/ mon  from 6p-10p/ Tue -Thur from 12p-2p and Wed from 6p-10p.  These classes are open to the general public and are for certification .  For info please call steve at 410-458-8881 or email  stephendeem@gmail.com

Guppy Gulch, Divers Den and Underwater Playground will be hosting a day of fun and a way to get in the spirit of 2010 by having a day at the Gulch.  Ther will be food and hot beverage, The admission is FREE gear is available.  The event will run from 10am till 2pm, so come on out and greet the new year  the right way, by jumping in a great quarry.

We are planning a trip to our favorite spot ,Cozumel,  It is an all inclusive resort and includes three tanks a day diving.  We will be diving with Dive Paradise.  The trip includes all food drink and diving.  The cost is $950 for the trip ,  airfare is when you book the trip, it can run from 450-700 .  Please call 410-458-8881 for more info.  The trip will be from March 28 thru April 4,2010, airfaae is at this time $467 so book early.  The closeout date is Feb 14 2010,  We still have some spots left.

This is a one day course with lessons in the morning and a paddle trip in the afternoon , it will be taught at MarinerPoint Park in Joppatowne on saturdays starting in late april.  All equiptment is furnished and course is taught by a professional.  The class size is limited to 10 so sign up early. Scuba will be atarting again in Jan 2010 at the essex camus.    They will be on Mon nites from 6p-10p and will start on Jan 25.  There is no gear p;urchase required for this certification class.  Information and sign up are the first nite, no water ime.  There will be a florida checkout available or a local experience.  Please call 410-458-8881 for more details.

We will be offering scuba classes at Loyola this spring.  Their is no equiptment purchase required.  You will recieve an open water certification at the end.  Class meets for six weeks from 5p-9p on thur nites. The starting dates are Feb 18 at the gym.   For info call 410-458-8881.

The trip was a great sucess, we dove all three days and the weather was wonderful.  water temp was 79 air was 84 and vis was all you wanted.  Everyone completed their dives and our Mon dive was on the Rebel which was at around 90ft,  You could see everything.  We will be going back in May 2010,  Make you  plans now.  Call steve at 410-458-8881, for a spot.

The trip was a huge sucess and we dove 20 dives during the week.  It is always a good trip with lots of diving.  We dove to the limit of our time and some used computers and some tables.  We will be offering this trip again in the spring  during spring break so if you  are interested let us know.
